After stints at Northampton Town (2001-2004), Bishop’s Stortford (2004-2006) and Stevenage (2006-2009), Steve Morison joined Millwall for the opening game of the 2009-10 season, and scored his first goal a month later in a 3-1 victory against Huddersfield Town. He scored the majority of Millwall’s goals that October and carried on in the same vein for the whole season. In December 2009, he scored seven goals in as many matches, culminating in a 2-0 win over Bristol Rovers. Steve Morison was named Football League One Player of the Month in March 2010 for his fine goalscoring, and during his time with Millwall he made a total of 83 appearances and scored 35 goals.

He moved to Norwich City in the 2010-11 season after their promotion to the Premier League, and in the 2011-12 season, scored 4 goals in 5 appearances. In 2012 he scored in the FA Cup against Burnley, leading to a 4-1 victory. He signed for Leeds United on the last day of the 2013 transfer window and scored 5 goals in a total of 41 appearances.

After originally going back as a loan, Steve Morison made his move back to Millwall in 2015 and is still there at present. He began the 2016-17 season by scoring 6 goals in 8 appearances and moved into the top ten of Millwall’s all time scorers. He is currently third, and has scored 7 goals in 30 appearances so far.
