After playing for a multitude of International teams, Wilfried Bony was bought by Swansea City in 2013 for a Welsh record of £12million. He made his competitive debut in the UEFA Europa League third qualifying round tie against Malmö FF, and scored two goals in a 4-0 victory.

He joined Manchester City on a £28million deal in 2015 and his highlights with them include a league goal in a 3-1 home win against West Bromwich Albian and scoring a Champions League goal in a 3-1 victory against Sevilla. In Manchester City’s final match of the Champions League group stage against Borussia Mönchengladbach, he came on at the 65th minute when City were down 2-1 and assisted two goals for Raheem Sterling before scoring the fourth goal and securing a 4-2 win.

After a brief loan to Stoke City, Wilfried Bony returned to Swansea City (2017), and scored his first Premier League goal of the season against his former club Stoke City in December. Just one week later, he captained the team and led them to a 1-0 win against West Bromwich Albion, scoring his first home goal at the Liberty Stadium since leaving the club initially. He is currently on loan to Qatari side Al-Arabi.
