Robson Green is an English actor, singer and television presenter.
He began his acting career after working for two years as a draughtsman and continued his musical career as a member of a successful local band - The Workie Tickets.
He first appeared in Casualty but after three series, he took the part of Fusilier Dave Tucker in the series Soldier Soldier. One episode called for Robson to co-star with Jerome Flynn to sing Unchained Melody, ITV were inundated by people wanting to buy the song and they were persuaded by Simon Cowell to release it as a single which became the best-selling single of the year.
He then went on to play clinical psychologist Dr Tony Hill in the crime drama Wire in the Blood. Following this, Robson has appeared in many TV series. He then went on to present his own series Extreme Fishing with Robson Green and a spin off Robson’s Extreme Fishing Challenge, travelling the world investigating and taking part in the sport.
Robson also starred in the war drama series Strike Back playing a former SAS operative, Lt Colonel Philippe Locke. He has since starred as Detective Inspector Geordie Keating in the drama series Grantchester. During an appearance on the One Show, Robson confirmed he would be presenting a new series called Tales from the Coast with Robson Green which began in January 2017.
