Authentic Signed Lloyd Cole Photos, Frames, Mounts and Displays
Lloyd Cole is an English singer songwriter, he was also the lead singer of Lloyd Cole and the Commotions. He met future members of the Commotions at Glasgow University when he studied English and philosophy. Their debut album “Rattlesnakes”reached number 13 in the UK charts and later they released two more albums before they broke up in 1989. Lloyd then moved to New York City and recorded with various artists.
Many of Lloyd’s recordings have featured in films such as “Bad Influence” and “When the Party’s Over” starring Sandra Bullock. In 1998 his song “Margo’s Waltz” featured in the film “Something about Mary”.
To mark the 20th anniversary of the release of “Rattlesnakes” Lloyd and the Commotions reformed and performed a one off tour of the UK and Ireland. He released further solo recordings but also toured with friends and work friends, calling themselves Lloyd Cole Small Ensemble.
Lloyd continues to tour, playing in small clubs and singing his rock songs as simple folk songs, some of the songs are even told rather than played. He has toured New Zealand, Australia and Europe.
