John Travolta is an American actor, film producer and dancer. He is mainly known for his roles in Saturday Night Fever and Grease.  In Saturday Night Fever he plays the part of a working class man who spends his time dancing at the local disco.  He becomes the champion dancer which helps him to cope with his dead end job and tensions in the local community.  The Soundtrack from the film featuring songs by the Bee Gees has become one of the best-selling soundtracks of all time. In Grease, which portrays the lives of two high school seniors, John played bad boy Danny and Olivia Newton John plays Australian girl Sandy who meet at the beach and fall in love. He was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor in Saturday Night Fever and also for his role in Pulp Fiction in 1994. He received his first prime time Emmy Award as a producer of the first season of American Crime Story, The People v O.J. Simpson in which he played the part of Robert Shapiro, part of the Dream Team who successfully defended O.J. Simpson.
