James May

Authentic Signed James May Photos, Framed & Mounted Displays

Television presenter and journalist James May is best known for being one of the three co-presenters of Top Gear, alongside Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammons, from 2003-2015. He started as one of the presenters of the original Top Gear series in 1999, and then left the show until the second series of the revived show in 2003. He earned himself the nickname ‘Captain Slow’ as an on-screen joke, due to his slow driving style.

However, he did a lot of high-speed driving on the show, and achieved 259.11 mph in a 2010 episode of Top Gear, in Veyron's newer 16.4 Super Sport edition. After Jeremy Clarkson left the show in 2015, James May made the decision to quit the show, and a completely new line-up of presenters took over.

During the time he presented Top Gear, James May also presented other shows including James May’s Toy Stories, a series that spanned between 2009-2014 and showcased favourite nostalgic toys such as Lego and Scalextrix with life-size, large scale endeavours. He has also presented two space documentaries to commemorate 40 years since the first man landed on the moon; James May On The Moon and James May At The Edge Of Space, the latter of which saw him flown to the stratosphere in a spy plane, and made him one of the highest flying people outside of the International Space Station.
