Jack Butland

Authentic Signed Jack Butland Photos, Framed & Mounted Displays

Goalkeeper Jack Butland made his debut for England in 2012 three days before even making the first team with his club at the time, Birmingham City, making him the youngest goalkeeper ever to play for the senior England team. His first season for Birmingham subsequently saw him voted Birmingham’s Young Player of the Year.

Jack Butland joined the Stoke City team in 2013 on the condition he could return to Birmingham on loan for the rest of the season. He continued to loan out to other Championship clubs such as Leeds United and Derby Country, whilst still being contracted to Stoke. In their 2015-16 season, he produced a man of the match performance resulting in a 1-1 draw against Norwich City. He made 35 appearances in total that season and won the club’s Player of the Year award, however after suffering a fractured ankle whilst playing for England against Germany in 2016, he missed out on all but the final five matches of the 2016-17 season, of which he kept two clean sheets.

When Jack Butland was chosen for England’s starting eleven he was only 19 years old. His first competitive international appearance was in the UEFA Euro 2016 qualifying match against Lithuania, and he kept a clean sheet and helped England to a 3-0 win. He was named in the national team squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
