Alfie Enoch is best known for his role as Harry’s friend and fellow Gryffindor Dean Thomas in the Harry Potter film franchise – he appeared in all of them with the exception of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part One. He was a recurring supporting character who appeared in major plotlines such as joining Dumbledore’s Army and the Battle of Hogwarts. He played as a Chaser in the Quidditch tournaments.

He has later forged an television career; including big names such as the popular ITV Broadchurch (2013), where he played journalist Sam Taylor in season one. He also made an appearance in an episode of Sherlock (2014), The Sign of Three, where he played Private Steven Bainbridge; a royal guard who becomes the victim of murder. He starred as Wes Gibbins in the ABC show How To Get Away With Murder from seasons 1-4 (2014-2018); his character was killed in season 3, but he appeared in a flashback sequence in the subsequent season. Alfie Enoch was nominated for the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for the character’s performance.
