Millwall striker Lee Gregory joined the club for a £250,000 fee in 2014, after previously playing for FC Halifax Town and Mansfield Town. Throughout his career with Millwall he has been a constant fixture in the frontline, and in the 2014-15 season he scored 4 goals in total and made 30 appearances. He went from strength to strength and in the 2016-17 season he scored 18 goals and made 47 appearances.

At the end of the 2016-17 season, his goals and performance helped Millwall win promotion from League One and re-establish themselves in the Championship. His contract was extended at the end of the 2017-18 season, and he won the Millwall Supporters Club Player of the year in 2019. In January of the same year, he scored against Everton in an FA Cup match, leading to a win for Millwall. He has been publicly praised by manager Neil Harris for his ‘goal scoring record’, and the manager admitted to picking him for every game. He has scored 74 goals overall for the club and is joint 15th in the club’s all time charts (level with Richard Parker).
