Keeley Hawes is an English actress best known for her role as Alex Drake in Ashes to Ashes.  She has also had roles in Spooks, Upstairs Downstairs and Line of Duty. More recently, she is starring as Louise Durrell in the ITV series ‘The Durrells’ a British comedy drama series.  The series is based on three autobiographical books about Gerald Durrell’s family’s four years spent on the Greek Island of Corfu.  The series begins in 1935 when Louise announces that her and her 4 children will move from Bournemouth to Corfu as they are experiencing financial problems following the death of her husband.  The series focuses on how the family adapt to life on the island without electricity and find that Corfu is cheap but also a place of beauty and happiness.
