Authentic Signed Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall Photos, Framed & Mounted Displays
Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall is a man of many talents. The celebrity chef is famous for his food related television shows, his books and his River Cottage restaurant. He is also an avid campaigner on food and environmental issues. He moved into River Cottage in 1997, and began the River Cottage series, commissioned by Channel 4, in the same year. The show, which aired on Channel 4, saw Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall’s journey to becoming a self-reliant farmer, using locally sourced produce such as fish, fruits and vegetables. River Cottage spanned until 2011 and involved a series of different programmes and episodes themed around self-sustainable living, such as Escape to River Cottage, Return to River Cottage and River Cottage Forever.
Prior to this, his television appearances included Cook on the Wild Side, TV Dinners and Treats from the Edwardian Country House, a six part 2002 series in which he famously cooked and ate a human placenta. He has appeared on Gordon Ramsey’s The F Word (2005) and was involved in Channel 4’s Big Food Fight series in 2008, along with Gordon Ramsey and Jamie Oliver.
Hugh-Fearnley Whittingstall is actively involved in charity work and is a patron of the charity ChildHope UK since 2009. He writes for the Guardian and the Observer and has published many successful cookery books based on his River Cottage series.
