Ciaran Hinds is an Irish actor who has played many characters in films such as Road to Perdition, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and Frozen.  He plays Aberforth Dumbledore in the film Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. 

His television roles include Gaius Julius Caesar in the series Rome, an historical drama which was honoured with a number of awards and nominations.  He also played the part of Mance Rayder in Game of Thrones, the fantasy drama television series.  Ciaran has had many spells with the Royal Shakespeare Company and the Royal National Theatre in London and continues to work on stage throughout his career.
