Amir Khan is a British professional boxer. He is a former unified WBA (Super) and IBF light-welterweight champion, having also held the WBC Silver welterweight title, and has challenged once for a middleweight world title. As an amateur, Khan won a silver medal in the lightweight division and became Britain's youngest boxing medalist at the age of 17. He is also one of the youngest ever British world champions, winning the WBA light-welterweight title at the age of 22.
