Tom Selleck

Tom Selleck is an American actor and film producer. He is best known for his role as Magnum PI in the hit series of the same name.

He first played the role of Magnum, a former U.S Navy Officer who resigned his commission in the navy to become a private investigator in Hawaii. The show ran between 1980 and 1988, some eight seasons and earned Tom an Emmy Award for outstanding lead actor in a drama series. He was famous for his moustache and the Hawaiian aloha shirt and baseball cap he wore. He also drove a Ferrari.

Tom has appeared in many other roles in films since Magnum PI including Three Men and a Baby, Friends, Three Men and a Little Lady and recently as NYPD Commissioner Frank Reagan in Blue Bloods which follows the Reagan family of police officers in the New York City Police Department.

The series is currently being show on TV and has been renewed for an eighth season.
