James & Oliver Phelps are identical twins, best known for playing identical twins Fred and George Weasley in the Harry Potter films.

They were born in Birmingham area, James being the younger by 13 minutes. When they were aged 14, they both skipped school exams to attend an audition and on their sixth audition were cast as Fred and George Weasley for the film Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. James has also worked as a runner on the set of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.

They have also been involved in the Harry Potter Exhibition and were present at the opening in Chicago and also followed the tour around different countries to promote it. The twins have also made a LiveCast,  answering fans’ questions and discussed the expansion at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

James and Oliver have since played their character, Fred and George Weasley in all of the subsequent Harry Potter films.
