Hayley Atwell is an English actress who has appeared in various films including “The Duchess” and “Brideshead Revisited” which earned her nominations from British Independent Film Awards and the London Film Critics Circle Awards. She also received a Laurence Olivier award nomination for her performance in “A View from the Bridge” in the West End.

She is well known for her role as Agent Peggy Carter in the American film “Captain America, The First Avenger” who needs to balance her life as a secret agent with that of a single woman in 1940’s America. She resumed her role in the film “Agent Carter” and again in “Captain America, The Winter Soldier”. She has also appeared in two episodes of the TV show “Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.” and had the lead role in “Marvel’s Agent Carter”.
